    This Privacy Policy explains how Carpathica Authentic Srl ("Carpathica Authentic", "Kliniq", or "we", "us" or "our") handles any personal information that might be collected through our website located at Kliniq.io (the "Site"); about users of the Kliniq service (the "Service"); in connection with our marketing activities; and in other settings where we post this Privacy Policy. Kliniq respects your privacy rights and is committed to full transparency in how we collect and use your personal information. Thus, the following policy is designed to inform you about the processing of your personal data and your rights regarding this processing according to the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and other data protection laws.

  • Controller
    We, Kliniq are the controller according to the present GDPR and therefore responsible for the data processing explained herein.

  • Personal Data Processing during your use of Kliniq's Website

  • Your visit to our Website and/or use of our online services may be logged. The IP address currently used by your device, date and time, the browser type and operating system of your device, the pages accessed and other data may be recorded. This data is collected for the purposes of optimizing and improving our website as well as our online services. The processing is legally based on legitimate interest as it is in our legitimate interest to protect our website and to improve the quality of our services. Additionally, your personal data is only stored if you provide it to us on your own account, e.g. as part of a registration, an online application or for online purchase (performance of a contract). We have taken appropriate measures to ensure that the data provided to us during the registration is adequately protected. These measures include, but are not limited to, encrypted communication, encrypted storage, monitored access, internal audit etc.

  • Contact Form
    You can use the contact form on our website https://Kliniq.io/contact to contact us for any request. The personal data that you filled out into the contact form will only be processed for answering your request. Filling in and submitting the contact form constitutes an affirmative action by which you have given your consent to the data processing.

  • Online Platform
    All personal data you have submitted using our online platform will only be used for the purposes of purchasing and/or delivering of our services, products and/or content. Without your personal data, we will not be able to process your requests. Your personal data will be stored as long as it is necessary for us to fulfill our obligations towards you including but not limited to delivery of the services or products, support etc., except where we are legally obliged to further store your data for the purposes of submitting it to public authorities, for example to tax authorities. This storage and transfer of your personal data to public authorities is based on fulfilling a legal obligation.

  • Customer/User Account Registration
    If you create a customer account, you will not have to send us your personal data every time you are using our platform or when you try to access information/materials intended only for registered customers. The personal data that you provided in the registration form will only be processed for creating and maintaining your customer account. Your personal data will only be stored until you delete your account. If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted without undue delay except where we are legally obliged by law to further store your data. Please note that you will not be able to use your customer account anymore, after it has been deleted.

  • Cookies
    We use only temporary cookies without any data that can identify the user in any way. They are only used for form submissions and deleted immediately.

  • 3rd parties
    Kliniq may use third party service providers to process your personal data. These service providers may be located in countries within and outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). Kliniq will ensure that any of these service providers are processing personal data in accordance with European data protection legislation to guarantee an adequate data protection level, even if personal data are transferred into a country outside the EEA for which no adequacy decision of the EU Commission exists. Transfers of personal data to other recipients is not performed at any time and in any circumstances, except where we are obliged to do so by law.   • Retention period
    Personal data provided to us using our Website will only be stored until the purpose for which they were processed has been fulfilled. Insofar as retention periods under commercial and tax law must be observed, the storage period for certain data can be up to 3 years. However, storage periods may also be amended due to our legitimate interest (e.g. to guarantee data security, to prevent misuse or to prosecute criminal offenders).

  • Kliniq Service and Customer Data

  • Registered users of the Service ("Customers") are businesses that use it to collect and manage information about their own users ("Customer Data"), including information about how they interact with the Customer’s websites, applications, services and designated third-party partners ("Customer Services"). Customers also use the Service to more efficiently route Customer Data to the other services that they use or to third parties that they work with, and to control how Customer Data is exchanged between these services and third parties.
  • Customer Data may include, without limitation, information about the identity of Customer users (such as name, postal address, e-mail address and phone number), as well as information about the pages users visit, the features they use, and the actions they take while using Customer Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to Customer Data or to Customer Services, and we are not responsible for our Customers’ handling of Customer Data. Our Customers have their own policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. Our use of Customer Data provided by our Customers in connection with our Service is subject to the written agreement between Kliniq and Customer.

  • Data collected automatically
    Kliniq, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically log the following information about you, your device, and your activity over time on the Site and other services: device data, such as your computer or mobile device operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, unique identifiers, and general location information such as city or town; usage data, such as the website you visited before browsing to the Site, pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, and duration of access.

  • Sensitive personal information
    We ask that you not share with us any sensitive personal information (e.g., social security numbers, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background or union membership) on or through the Service or otherwise.                   • We do not share the personal information that you provide us with other organizations without your express consent, except as described in this Privacy Policy. We may share your personal information with the following parties and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection:
                  • Service Providers. We may employ companies and individuals to help provide the Site or Service on our behalf or help us operate our business (such as IT, customer support, hosting, website analytics, email delivery, marketing and advertising, research, event management).                   • Payment gateways. Any payment card information you use to make a purchase on the Service is collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, and we never physically receive or store your full payment card information. Stripe commits to complying with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and using industry standard security. Stripe may use your Payment Information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy here: https://stripe.com/privacy.
                  • Advertising partners. We work with third party advertising companies that collect information about your activity on the Site and other online services to help us advertise our services (including, through interest-based advertising), and/or use hashed customer lists that we share with them to deliver ads to them and similar users on their platforms.
                  • Customers. When you have an organization-administered account your organization can access your information as described in the Organization-Administered Accounts section below.
                  • Affiliates. We may disclose your personal information to our subsidiaries and corporate affiliates for use consistent with this Privacy Policy.
                  • Professional advisors. We may disclose your personal information to professional advisors, such as lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services they render to us.

                    • Access to Data Controlled by our Customers. Kliniq has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal information is contained within the Customer Data processed by the Service. An individual who seeks to access, correct or delete this information should direct their request to the Customer.
                    • Marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing-related emails by logging in and changing your account settings or by following the opt-out prompt in the email. You may continue to receive Service-related and other non-marketing emails.
                    • Testimonials. If you gave us consent to post a testimonial to our site, but wish to update or delete it, please contact us.
                    • Cookies. Most browsers let you remove and/or stop accepting cookies from the websites you visit. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser’s settings. However many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use all functionality of the Service and our Site may not work properly.
